Step 8: Pre-Close Preparation
As the closing date draws near, we will be in contact with the escrow company or closing attorney and your lender to insure that all the necessary documents are being prepared. We will also confirm that the documents will be delivered to the correct location so they can be reviewed, and they will be ready on the appropriate date so that you can view them before the day of closing.
The Somerset Alliance L.L.C. will work to get the HUD-1 settlement statement at least 48 hours before closing, which will enable us to go over this statement for accuracies and questions with you prior to closing. We will help insure that you have the proper form of payment and made out to the appropriate party. We can work with the closing officer as your consultant to insure thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness.Go to Next Step > |
