Jay Zimmer
Jay has been involved in the real estate business for most of his life. He owns several duplexes and hopes to continue to increase his real estate investment holdings. Through this experience Jay realized how much more freedom and enjoyment he could gain from a career as a real estate agent. Jay accelerated this career change by helping to create The Somerset Alliance, L.L.C. at Horizon Realty.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering at Western Michigan University, Jay found himself working in microprocessor design in San Francisco. An engineering assignment brought Jay to Austin in 1992. The Austin atmosphere and housing market have persuaded him to stay.
Now, Jay is applying his engineering skills, such as his attention to detail and ability to break down complex issues, toward expertly guiding clients through the real estate process. These skills, combined with his outgoing personality, demonstrate his heart's desire to help people.
Jay likes to explore the open roads of the United States and to tour architecturally significant homes. He also enjoys season tickets on the glass to the Austin Ice Bats. |
